So with the unemployment woes of the world, I’ve gone back to doing some web design. I’m dusting off my skills a little, as well as learning a lot of new stuff. I’ve got (X)HTML and CSS grasped again, whilst also learning a bit of jQuery. Ethan has been great help.
The above site is a showpiece page for a Unity3D game, which my friend Trent Polack made. He’s recently been hired by LightBox Interactive, the WarHawk (PS3) developers; so congratulations to him! His game is still in development, so keep an eye on it. It’s a nice demonstration of what can be done with the Unity engine, and also nice to see game dev tools on OS X.
I’m currently working on a portfolio site for my friend Luke, which I should hopefully finish and be able to show off this week. I’ll probably have a go at making a Tumblr theme after that. Maybe for myself, or I might just do one for the Theme Garden. Fun times!
